Delete your iwannacamp account

1. Send an email to privacy@iwannacamp.co.za.
2. Use the subject line: iwannacamp account deletion request.
3. Include the email address and phone number linked to your iwannacamp account, if you have both.
4. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deleting data, so that someone else cannot delete your account without permission.

After we verify your request, iwannacamp will delete or de-identify personal data associated with your guest account where we are not required to keep it.

• iwannacamp guest account and profile details, including name, email address, and phone number where applicable.
• Account sign-in and verification data linked to the guest account.
• Future marketing or service communications that are not legally required.

Some records may be retained where required for legitimate business, security, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

• Reservation and day-pass records that campsites need for operational, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
• Transaction, audit, security, and system logs required to keep iwannacamp secure and compliant.
• Payment-related records retained where required by law or by our payment providers.
• Information that has already been anonymised or aggregated so it can no longer identify the user.

Retained records are kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes, or for the period required by applicable law. In most cases we aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
