Tucked away in the untouched bergveld outside Riversdale, Western Cape, Adamel Wild Camp offers a peaceful, off-grid retreat on a working farm surrounded by fynbos and sweeping mountain views. Whether you're a seasoned camper or simply craving nature and quiet, we have something special for you.

We offer:
Three private wild campsites for those seeking solitude and a deep connection with nature.
Totally off-grid with no amenities so you need to be self-sufficient.
One private site. This site includes basic ablution facilities (toilet, handwash basin, and a shower) and a wood-fired hot tub. Donkey boiler for a hot shower.
One large group campsite for friends, families, or outdoor clubs. This site includes basic ablution facilities (toilet, handwash basin, and shower) and a designated fire pit for safe campfires. Wood-fired donkey boiler for a hot shower.
IMPORTANT: ALL campsites are accessible only by 4x4 vehicle, ensuring privacy and a true wilderness experience.
Rustic Comfort: The Berghuisie
For guests who prefer not to camp, we offer a cozy and charming rustic berghuisie, perfect for a couple's retreat. The berghuisie sleeps two adults and is thoughtfully equipped with:
